Thou shalt KNOT
The lost art of knot making

Wednesday 11 August      6.30am -8.30pm    $10

Ron Sperber, Earthwhile Sustainability Education

Have you made your way through life using only the granny knot and the shoelace tie? You don't need to know a lot of knots but there are a few
basic ones that are really useful to know, whether you're a gardener,
sailor, or just securing a load on the trailer.  Join us for a fun
session where you can try your hand at knots for tying -  things at
right angles to each other, rope onto a post or branch, a knot that is
easy to undo again, a secure loop in the middle of a rope that can be
undone again, rope to secure a load.

Please bring a piece of rope if you
can.
