My tomatoes have just started to ripen, and so far they seem perfect, but heaps of the leaves are all going yellow and shrivelling up, is this normal, or do I need to give them something?

I'd cut all the old leaves off and leave just a few green ones at the top, that way any diseased ones are removed, it lets light in to ripen the fruit, and all the plants efforts will go into the fruit.
