no blossoms on my citrus

I've got 2 well established citrus trees, an orange and a grapefruit, growing with health and vigour.

But no blossoms again this year...What's the story? Has anyone experienced this before? I've checked the grafted area, it looks fine.

  • I also had no blossoms this year on my mandarin. We had mamdarins last year. My tree is only 2 years old?
    • Debbi, a bit early for flowers yet. But citrus do like a light dressing of Epsom salt. Try a teaspoon of salts in a watering can, watered mostly around the outside edge (just inside the outer drip line) of the trees. If they do flower, it would be good to remove the flowers (yes, no fruit) for one more year.
