The market was great this past weekend! There was wonderful participation from the growers. A total of 8 growers brought homegrown items such as: babaco, spinach, oregano, rosemary, thyme, silverbeet, kale, rhubarb, boysenberry, strawberries, floral salads, chard, sorrel, sango radish micro greens, mesclun salads, micro green salads, oakleaf lettuce, koanga lettuce mix, southland peas, and an array of seedlings! Thank you everyone for participating!
We had a lady return to the stall from the previous week specifically requesting Helen Cooks Irish potatoes. Said they were absolutely delicious!!
Another farmers market goer, "I love the Ooooby stall because it always has unique items that change weekly."

Hi Lynn,
Thanks! It is really exciting when people bring their homegrown items to the stall, even if it is only 1 or 2 things...it makes the stall that much better! I would love to see an Ooooby stall start up in Napier. With all of the people growing down there I'm sure it would be a great one!
