Harvest Community Gardens are teaming up with Sustainable Wanaka to bring you a 3-hour Organic Vege Gardening Workshop at our gardens on Speargrass Flat Road.
The workshop will be facilitated by local vege gardening expert Dr Compost who has a wealth of knowledge on different organic gardening techniques and experience with our local climate. Great for beginner gardeners but even the experts will learn a thing or two.
Sunday 18th October, Harvest Community Gardens - 362 Speargrass Flat Rd, Queenstown
10:00am-1:00pm, "How to build an organic vege garden” $35
At this workshop you will learn:
* Two different methods of building an organic vege garden. Raised bed, lasagne/no-dig method and double digging
* How to select a good site for your plot and how to prepare the bed and surrounds for planting.
Morning tea will be provided.
