Subsidised Worm Farms for residents in the QLDC area

Mick Palmer, whose company Easy-Veg produces kit set macrocarpa raised beds, hoops and other gardening goodies has donated a raised bed to the Harvest Community Gardens Network Speargrass Road site. He also sells worm farms and I've cut & paste an email from him with details of how to obtain a subsidised warm farm. Mick's web address is www.easy-veg.co.nz All residents within the QLDC area will receive a subsidy from QLDC for an Easy-Veg worm farm. For all existing or want to be vegetable gardeners then worm farms are the bees knees. They produce Vermicasts (worm poo), great as an additive to the garden or for raising plants and Leachate (worm pee), diluted down and used as a rich fertilizer, with lots of great micro organisms for soil health. Made mostly from recycled plastic, it includes worms, full instructions, and can be delivered to you. It normally retails for $150. With the subsidy you only pay $50, a great deal. All you have to do is go to this link http://easy-veg.co.nz/index.php?pr=Worm_Farm_3 and follow the instructions or email info@easy-veg.co.nz If you do not wish to take this offer up, then please fwd this to others, that are within the QLDC area so they are given the opportunity. Have a great summer and less to the landfills. This is pretty much first in best served. The council also subsidises Bokashi buckets and you need to go along to their offices on Gorge Road with a copy of a utilities bill as proof of residency, pay for your bokashi buckets and take the receipt along to Queenstown Cleaning in Glenda Dr.
