Suggestions for Grey Lynn Ooooby-versity topics

For the last few months I've taken on the Ooooby-versity organising speakers. 

Is there a good speaker that you think will interest the group?

Do you think people want to know more about bees, avocado growing, irrigation and saving water, solar power, growing in a glass house? Or are there some topics you want to revisit in more detail.

Also does the first Thursday of the month suit?

Let me know and we can see what we can come up with.......

I am a speaker: Conscious CaféI speak about healtful and healthgiving food preparation with an emphasis on raw food_ straight form the garden and the health benefits thereof. I have been speaking and teaching at the Titrangi Energy fare since February and have a food stall outside the venue at the coffee bar. This month we served: Raw Cacao Torté and Nut Slice with Cheesy Kale Chips. Our class was on Sauerkraut.

Growing avocado trees in planters/restricted place s( Someone in Kumeu does this)

Aquaculture in the city (waste from goldfish fertilizing plants)

emergency composting toilets, (See 9 to noon, radio NZ, 4/5/2011)
