EM and Bokashi Buckets

Hi all,

I'm putting together an order for EM and Bokashi Buckets.

From memory, the bottles of EM cost $15 and the buckets $40.

So far I have 3 buckets and 2 bottles of EM to order. 

Dave needs a minimum of 9 buckets per order so this can go ahead if enough of us want some. There's no minimum limit on the EM order so that can go ahead regardless.

If anyone is curious but missed the meeting where we were told all about this system... I have some info sheets you can have a read of... or I could even scan them and email to you as a PDF.

In short, the Bokashi is a regenerative composting system. Put household scraps in, they ferment and you get nutrient rich liquid out -feed your garden with it.

It seems to be quite opposite to rotting down compost which can take a very long time to be ready for use.

EM (Effective Micro-organisms) is a liquid which can be used for many things a few of which are: fertiliser (encouraging good stuff in the soil), food for your Septic tank (potentially you never need to empty it again), as a cleaning product around the house (for floors, clothes and plumbing -clears out clogged pipes).

I can ask. I think the buckets come with a bag already, but I'm sure that if we get a bucket order we can ask for the sawdust too.
I'm about to dig my first bucket load into the garden today!
If I get enough people wanting a bucket I'll let you know. How many bags would like?

I could order a few it depends on the price. I think it is about $10 at common sense. For a family of 4 I think we put a bucket in the garden every week, so I think we use a bag if the sawdust every 6 weeks or 2 months.
