It feels like Spring is well and truly here.
A few of us were at Hannah's today for a composting workshop which was excellent! -thanks Hannah! ...and we also talked about setting a date for the next PG's meeting.
It'd be great if someone could put their hand up to host it at their place. I've heard a couple of people say they don't have a "proper" garden to show people... but luckily that's not what it's all about. We just need a place to meet and talk and swap green things. So don't be shy!
Feel free to add a theme if you have something you wish to discuss or if you want to invite someone to speak to us -be creative!
Also, it'd be good if we can start to organise the next meeting each time we meet so that it no longer falls on Stacey to do this.
Cheers,
Flo
ps. I'm tied up next Sunday (5th) afternoon, but free any other Saturday or Sunday this month.

It was a great workshop - thanks Hannah, I went home and watered my compost heaps!
I'm happy to host at my place 47 Ocean Rd - was it going to be a seed/seedling swap? Dates good for me are 12th, 18th, 19th Sept.
Cheers

Stacey and I now have a work meeting that has been changed to the 12th. But the 18th or 19th are looking good to me.
Yes I think seed/seedling swapping will be popular too. Is it ok if we put a notice about the meeting on Janet's "What's on Paekakariki" email newsletter?
I think about 10+ people turned up last time at my place and we ended up having a shared afternoon tea also.
Let us know what date and time suits you best.
Cheers
Flo
