Hi I have rescued a surviving seedling from under an 80 year old grapevine recently chopped down, the plant is now in my garden... is it possible to graft part of it onto an established modern variety vine?

why not just grow the seedling? If an old variety it could well have a good strong root system and from what I understand the quality of fruit wont change by grafting.
