  • Just wondering if anyone has any sourdough starter they would like to share

  • Hello UH-oooobys !

I have a bush cabin for rent, if anyone knows anyone who would like to live the lifestyle up on Moonshine Hill ! It is best suited for a single person, has a brilliant outlook over native bush, a small covered deck, harvests its own rainwater and is soon to be fitted with a chip heater for total winter cosiness. Comes with lots of garden space, free firewood, a big shared shed and a fully-appointed main house. Please put the word about - advertising on TradeMe and similar doesn't seem to be targeted enough to people who genuinely want 'lifestyle' living.

  • Ok, will call you over the weekend as Shaun is away till Friday night. Thanks :-)
  • Do we ever!! Although my little ones do like watching them out the window.... hmm, give me a call when you're free!
  • HI guys anyone here got a rabbit problem? Have a keen hubby with the appropriate gun and license that wants to remove some pests. Stop the cute little fluffies destroying your pasture and making holes for your pony or cattle to step in and break a leg. Our kids pet bunnies are off the menu.

  • Hi Lynette - it is on every Saturday. Usually between 8-11.30am. I usually pack up after then and are gone by 12 but the fruit and veg man, Harry Kent, who runs the market is there for longer. there are 4 stall holders there every week and 4-5 others that come and go as it suits them. I'm there this week and the following week will be at the Pinehaven school Gala instead then back to Trentham Market the following week.
  • is the trentham market on every saturday- what time?

Getting together in Upper Hutt

I just posted on the community noticeboard about arranging a get-together.  If something else is already in the planning, please let me know, and I'll close this discussion.  Otherwise, I am happy to arrange a get-together, and have it at my place.  Its hard to get out gardening in this rain, but we can have a laugh and cuppa inside talking about it instead!   Before I launch in boots and all, can people reply to let me know:   - is anyone keen to meet up in June? - does weekend or weekday suit…
