    Welcome to ooooby. Your research sounds interesting. I can only speck for myself but I find that the supermarkets just don't cater for my family.

    The variety is not there anymore. You just don't get the choice, for example there may only be 2-3 varieties of apple.

    Nothing is fresh, and you don't know what chemicals have been used.

    don't get me wrong, I do still buy veggie but only when I have not grown enough to last me.
