Arrrgh, wouldn't you know it? I'm doing the Organic Horticulture course at the BHU at the moment and have class on Tuesdays. I finish that in August though, so maybe I'll look forward to meeting you guys then (when my work hours will also change and I won't be working Sundays any more). Good to see a stall/swap idea being mooted isn't it?
Hi again Dale, my garden is getting full! I have been sowing exchange seeds for three years now, the seed is improving the more people get involved to keep them viable. the long red akaroa carrots I grew were huge last year so I am growing them again, they tasted nice, despite being so large.I planted some black hopi corn from koanga probably too early and only one seedling came up , so I have planted some more of a different kind since which are doing fine, they do say it was the coldest October for a while so maybe that was it. I have some yugoslav dwarf beans growing from the critical list, some bohemian sugarsnap peas, radishes and orach which I will save seed from and various kinds of climbing beans, geaorge maslins lettuce, spring onions, and a few kinds of tomatoes. I have gathered seed to grow of other things from different sources which I will save and feed back to the seed exchange in the autumn, its lots of fun,
