  hi eliz, i saw your comment about having nettles. have you seen susan weeds youtube on using nettles. i am desparately wanting nettles but unfortunately cant come down from auckland to harvest them for you. i hope someone is able to use them.

  hello Eliz, welcome to ooooby. You might be interested to swap notes with Katherine who is farming rabbits for their personal consumption. I try to barter wild rabbits for preserves but can be difficult to get a regular supply because many farmers are putting down poison to control the rabbits. Farmed rabbits are sold in the SI but the cost can be more expensive than free range chicken so I normally pass on them:(
