Thanks for the welcome and good luck with the passion fruit. I had one which was my pride and joy but it only lasted 3 years because it got something called 'collar rot'. Something to be wary of!

Hi Heather - happy to be your friend and I hope that you find as much kindness and community spirit as I have around here...........weather today is very cool and damp in Napier, so will have to guard "my babies" against the slugs!! So far they have not returned but they are canny little wotsits. Nothing like rain tho to get the green leaves sprouting and I found a string of baby toms this morning, and a passionfruit on the so far barren vine [so my Landlord said - perhaps it does not like him!!].
Anyway - keep me posted on your progress, I will be very interested and try Hester Robson's page as she is a very keen gardener and belongs to some good groups.

Hello Heather - yes they had a head start in Hester Robson's greenhouse and have gone great guns here, about to bolt this weekend!!
