I have a large hillside garden in Governors Bay on Lyttelton Harbour. I've planted it mostly in natives to encourage the native birds - kereru, bellbirds, fantails... Productive garden includes fruit trees (apricot, peach, plum, apple, quince); berry fruit (black and red currants, cranberries, strawberries, blueberries); citrus (grapefruit, lemon, lime); vegetables (all the usual). I have 14 chooks (plus a broody sitting on 12 eggs) and a 'rented' beehive.
