  Yum! I adore asparagus, i buy mine from a local grower as i dont own my own property to have a permanent bed yet. 

  But hopefully by thursday i will, and this time next year il be joining you in eating fresh home grown asparagus.

  Is it realy cold where you are? Im in the waikato, so pretty tepid here. Snow on our mountain (for a day or two till it melts) but not on our back yards
