Tell us about your garden and what you're growing
I am in between houses at the moment, having just arrived back from 7 months in Ecuador, where I volunteered (similar to woofing) and studied organic agriculture. I hope to be able to design my own permaculture style garden, a roof top garden, and change the building construction/plumbing to utilise grey water, solar energy etc. Would also like to be involved in community projects regarding the above, and the green roofs pages here are the ones that originally caught my eye - so far the site looks exciting and fantastic though!

Hi Naomi,
Fancy meeting you here! Want to help us with a zuchinni avalanche? Next weekend perhaps?
Kylie
Hey Naomi,
Yeah there certainly is a lot going on, I'm trying to feel my way in and have signed up for some volunteering. I've just gotta get stuck in and learn it I guess. I'd be interested to hear about the course you're doing. I did one last year through the open polytech bit I want to study more.
I'd be keen to meet up for a coffee sometime if you're around during he day (I'm a job seeker too so I'm pretty flexible). I've got some cool urban agriculture info in Spanish from Mexico that you might be interested to see. Give me an email sometime: charlimaar@gmail.com.
Peace,
Charlotte
Hey Naomi,
Welcome to Oooby. Sounds like we've been doing similar things. I have also just returned form Latin America, mainly Mexico City where I spent time working on urban agriculture projects. I'm living in Grey Lynn and there's heaps going on here. Let me know if you find any cool projects that need an extra pair of hands...
