Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

Growing most of our vegetables "beyond organic". ie As "nutrient dense" as possible, thanks to what I have learned from Kay Baxter and Environmental Fertilisers... getting bio-available calcium into the soil and the minerals into balance. We've written a little book about it and more.... called "The all and everything of Healthy Living". More than ever 'we are what we eat'. If you'd like to read it do get in touch... • Thank you again Sandipa,  I feel like I am silently "getting" the importance of balance in the soil & perhaps a bit more understanding.  And I am thinking that after I have read your book I may just have to start up another compost bin from scratch & follow some examples. :O)

It is interesting how nature inspires us both though art. :O)  As I am a bit tiresome of painting flora landscapes time & time again....I am going to really push myself this year & paint out of my comfort zone into the unknown of gold leaf & abstract using flora in some way, no doubt. hehe

  • Wow, thank you Sandipa for all that information.  I am really looking forward to reading your book now! :O)
  • Hi there Sandeepa, your wee book sounds like something I would like to read.  I've been stumpted for a bit as to what "nutrient dense" really means and perhaps I might have the wrong end of the stick here but....has it got anything to do with having loads of weeds in your garden that are beneficial to veggie?  I am very green when it comes to permaculture & it seems to me that, maybe this is the way to go?  If so, changing the mindset might be a struggle for me.
