Hi Hester - thanks for re-opening HB Group - would be good to see some of the original members rejoin. I had a catch up half hour with Lynn on Sunday - just a bike ride away, how lovely!! Remember you are welcome to drop by anytime and see our new veggie is going great guns at the mo.

Marion...don't worry about the pic, hon, it's good to know you are organic, AND certified! Some would say that ALL gardeners should be certified, and personally, I think it would be a blast to have so many certifiable people at a gathering! :)

HI There Sorry about my pic at the moment. I just need to upload some better shots!. Thanks for getting this revived again Hester as I was wondering where things were going with Ooooby in HB . Just back form AK and talked with local people there in Grey Lynn where they have a site at the local market. Such a lot of good things happening there. Most of this is posted on the main site.

Woohoo! Thanks Hester, for getting this page back up and running...good that we have a forum again. It was a great luncheon today, nice gathering, and I thank you all for bringing your lovely shared lunch dishes...funny how it just always works out perfectly, huh? I'm looking forward to the next one.

After discussion at the Hawkes Bay Oooobymeet today we decided to add a new Hawkes Bay group for keeping in touch with other local members, due to the original group being re-named Hawkes bay Freecycle and Barter . We all had found this confusing and thought it isn't always the purpose we require, so-here we are.
The next Hawkes Bay Oooobymeet is planned for Sunday October 17, so start potting up your surplus plants and seedlings to swap, and watch this space for more info on where and when.(If you don't have anything to swap-that's okay too. Save a space on your calendar to come and meet some other local Ooooby members and swap garden talk.
