I am not too sure if this is the right place to raise this but... I have been recently told about 'orange roughy' a fish which can be caught from our sea shores... These are amazing fish and shouldnt be eaten! They live for 125-160years and dont start reproducing until they are 35-40 years old, but reach maximum size at about 25 years. So are being caught prior to reproduction age and population recovery is limited. Unfortunately sea bottom trawling is thought to be the major cause in the decline in their numbers.

yeh, just a little rant and to draw your attention to it

Thoughts are welcome!
