Hi all, has anyone built a pizza oven that isn't made of clay, we are right on the west coast and get hammered by all elements, if anyone can give me ideas, tips, or even plans that would be fab!!!!

This one seems simple enough for even me to have a try...but no mention of a chimney?
and ...wow! ... http://www.intabas.com/mayashome.html

You don't have to use metal for the chimney. It will work just fine but you could also use clay or concrete pipe. A bit heavier but will work fine.
It doesn't have to be anything special

I was discussing building one today and was told that someone had built on over a rounded bale of straw, and that after completion they set alight the straw to get rid of it as well as finishing of the surface. Does anyone have any other such cool suggestions?
