Finn's working bee was a total success.
I will post pictures soon.
Sorry the delay, I was in hospital and I was operated after a long story, I still need few weeks to recover.
Let me know if you want a woking bee for your project.
I plan to be there but am a total newby at this!
Do I need to let Finn know or will you pass on the message.
Next Working Bee Sunday 7 August in Finn's Mackesy's new place.
It will start at 10 AM until the job is done or late afternoon.
Finn is a facilitator at Auckland Permaculture Workshop and I believe is a great opportunity to learn lots of stuff.
He wrote me:
e have a range of goals we are hoping to achieve including making a hot compost, preparing a row for planting out avocados in, preparing an area for a subtropical food forest, chipping and mulching, and making a no dig garden bed.We have most of the materials we need for this on site already.People can bring gummies, gloves and hand tools (loppers, secateers, spades, shovels) and a wheelbarrow would be great too.
I will send address on request.
Where is the working bee?
Next working bee in my house 24 July 2011 1030. Address will be given on request.
Another working bee will happen in Finn Mackesy's house in August, if you don't know who is Finn, he is a Permaculture Teacher who is running the Auckland Permaculture Workshop, I strongly recommend to everybody to go there.
