Tell us about your garden and what you're growing

We have built 5 terraced beds into our backyard. During the earthquake our garden was able to provide us with fresh produce. We love growing an array of seasonal vegetables and sharing with our neighbors who are wonderful and have shared their garden food and preserves with us as well.

  • Do you have that planter with the windscreen you posted in Auckland?

    Did it work?

I want it, but also I have 20 cracked windscreens at home to do more, lots more.

    Who made it?

  • Hi Christy! She brought 12 dozen down to me on Sunday, they are all shapes and sizes as she has chickens of all shapes and sizes. How much does the stall charge the customers for a dozen of the Pukekohe ones?
  • Thanks so much. Have had a quick scan and it looks great. Can't wait for a rainy day to curl up and read...tomorrow!
  • Hi Christy,
Thanks for your mail re the Edible Estates Book.

  • Hi Christy - thanks for the welcome. Nice of you to make time to do that :)
  • Hi Christy, Thanks for the welcome. I'm interested in swapping some raw milk for fruit and vege if anyone is interested? But I live in Tirau, we do travel to Hamilton at least once a week. This site is fantastic and I've only just signed in today!
  • Thanks - looking forward to learning more about sustainable gardening particularly permaculture and making contact with fellow gardeners
