    If I have more than I can eat fresh, or preserve in fair quantities for my very small family, I have always given the balance away...to whomever. This year I was thinking of donating it to the foodbank, and I shall contact them to see if that would be acceptable. I love this way of sharing...it cuts to the basic core of goodwill.
