This was an old sewing machine cabinet.
This is a nice beginning example recycling an old BBQ stand. It wouldn't take much to put a new usable top on it but it's still a good example for a deck or patio where you need to keep plants mobile.
I love the rustic look just using old boards.
Here's some nice ideas using old doors, windows, fencing and salvaged furniture.
If your short on storage for your pots and gardening supplies you might want to consider using an old piece of furniture for this need. I like the idea of using old chest drawers and baskets inserted to hold small items.

I decided what to do with the courtyard fence (about 7 feet high), I am going to paint it white and put a green trellis in front of it The white should increase light for a vine, and the green should just be pretty in front of it. Where it isn't planted with vines I am going to paint it.
Love your fence idea. I've seen people hang old windows and back them with mirrors on their fences and build trellises around it. It creates "more space", reflects more light and creates more plant volume. You can position it to reflect something you like and you can add old shutters. You can even insert low voltage lighting to light it up at night. Go hog-wild and put some window planter boxes under the window/mirror to create a wonderful look. Depending on how long a fence is several window/mirror set-ups can be hung to fill fence voids. I have a friend who loves to paint flowers on old windows and hang them in her yard. There real sweet.
You would think they might have some ready to them as that is my business... but NO! .... okay... enough Mom sarcasm.
Think I am going to go dig something up.
