Berry Fruit Cuttings

Does anyone know if you can grow new plants from Red Currant cuttings and if so how long do they take to fruit?

No blue berries take a long time to root,last season i bent a few branches over pots of soil and held them down with a rock on top, it took 18 months before there was enough roots before i was able to cut off from main plant,

HI Caroline

Take cuttings end of Aug and poke in where you want them grow,they grow really easily,as for fruiting ,that will be the second season.
