    Hi Sarah,
    I'm not sure but figure it should be possible in the warmer climates of the North (I live in Auckland) so am going to try it out myself, having put a couple of knobs in a pot last week. I found this really helpful page http://www.tropicalpermaculture.com/growing-ginger.html
    I also would love some advice form anyone who has managed successfully to grow it here.
