Have just discovered my potato plants have become a ladybug nursery. I noticed the leaves were looking brown and nasty, found a little yellow hairy bug on them, which after a little research realised are lady bug lava. Now these are good for the garden aren't they, so I don't want to get rid of them do I? Getting to the point, will the potatoes survive if I leave them alone. They are just starting to flower and are in potatoes bags if that makes any difference.
I have never grown potates before so any advice would be very welcome.
Thanks
Tracy
