Hi Pete. Maybe a bit late now with my info, but there are some in Almondbury and i know a couple of people who have them. I'm sure they would love to show you round.
Just remembered that there is/was quite a large allotment space just 2mins off the ringroad in Huddersfield (above Aldi / Matalan) , off Highfields Road. I heard a few years ago that this was a really interesting place because of the number of Asian & Carribean guys that had plots...quite a diverse range of crops. Would be interesting to see if its the same now.
Hi Pete, I'm not too sure about allotments in Huddersfield but I can tell you of a few in Brighouse... 1) Lillands Lane (Field Lane area) 2) Chapel Croft (Rastrick) 3) Waring Green (close to St Andrew's school a few mins from town centre) These all come under Calderdale rather than Kirklees but are all within a 15/20 minute journey from Hudds.
