We have an area planted in blue lupin (Lupinus alternifolius) and I'm wondering if I can either feed the foliage to the chooks or even put them in that area for a while to forage. Apparently blue lupin can be used as "animal fodder", but I'm unsure about whether it is safe or palatable for birds.
