I didnt bother to find something, because they didnt like the house, and they never looked for shelter, as they slept on the lawns.
Now is getting colder, and I found that they are coming under my house, what is a no no.
But, I need something before kick them out.
Any advise?

the male is bigger. he has greener feathers, and also little curved tail feathers, which the females don't. the male also can't 'quack' loudly, like the females can. You can pick them up and listen to their protests. that is how i sex them when they are young. a useful book for ducks is called 'raising ducks', i'm sure it will be in the library. re shelter i have a couple of different shelters, which i also use for them to lay in. see here on my blog: http://www.islandgardening.com/2010/09/duck-housing.htmlif you don't want them in an area, they should be easily contained by a knee high fence. mine is made out of tree stakes, with old windbreak cloth stapled to it. i'll try to remember to contact you when they start laying..... :)
Let me know if you have the eggs, and where can I pick them up. I cannot afford to go to Waiheke at this stage, and I wonder if you send me the eggs with somebody.

I have 3Cayuga ducks, but I need a boost with some fertilized eggs.
Let me know if you have that boost.
Thanks
What do they need for shelter?
