I have a Drake who seems to be fascinated by my chooks! I have a duck who he hangs out with and seems to duck flirt with but he is seriously annoying my poor ladies. Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop this backyard philandering?????
My flatmate watched a vet tv show where this was happening with a dog and the vet put a mirror up so the drake could see he was a duck and not a dog - seemed to work. Not with my drake!!!! She has just suggested a good water-gun to give him a fright every time I catch him which I will try upon purchasing one tomorrow.
ANY IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED :-D
