Want to order fruit trees?

Hi. Edible Garden have their Autumn catalogue out now. Does anyone want to put in a group order and share freight costs?

 

We are setting up a date with Kath Irvine to talk fruit trees and what grows well locally, but this will be late June and some trees will have sold out by then.

 

If you're interested, have a look at the catalogue and post your order to this discussion and I will put in an order on Thursday 27 May.

    Hey Prue,

    Have you got any more artichoke seedlings you are trying to get rid of? ;-)

    Also I was wondering if you would like some of those blue hydrangeas? I've pruned them back and got a few self propagated plants.

    I'll be going to Stacey's just at about 2:30 as well so I can bring them then if you like.

      How about once I've paid? I'll put in an order then will be invoiced once availability has been confirmed. I'll pay it in one lump and you can pay me.

    Was chatting with Joe Clarkson down at the dairy and he was talking about the idea that we could have some land at this end of QE Park (near the new bike track) which may be available (or could be come available) for use as a sort of CSA orchard if we could get it together to make the case.. sounded like worth investigating more in any event...

    I'd be interested in getting a Monty's Surprise apple. I want a grapefruit too but the catalogue doesn't seem to have citrus.
