    Does anyone have any blackboy peach stones I can swap for seeds. I have loads of lettuce, brassicas, cresss and Chinese green seeds on offer (I used to grow commercially, so bought in bulk).

    Hey Jamie, glad you like it. I can't remember the ingredients exactly but I think there was ginger. It was a dud batch so if you like that then you will love the feijoa. Congrats on the eggfest. Hopefully they lay well come spring. Ka kite,

    Hi Alouis, have just opened the "apple+chutney feijoa" to use on crackers to take to the Transition Town pot luck meeting tonight. And it is fabulous. HAve you got ginger in there as well? very yum thank you. And I must confess the guava paste is no more! My very new chooks ( well 1 of tehm) laid the first egg today - very exciting! Do swing by if you are passing.

Plum and apricot prunings for rooting/budding.

I have some bundles of prunings from Moorpark apricot and Burbank plum (red flesh). Both good-flavoured fruit which survive in Otaki. Some 1-year wood, and some 2nd year, I think. If anyone wants to try rooting,budding, grafting etc, please help yourself : they are on the front porch at 40 domain Road, Otaki. Say Hi and share a cup of tea if we are in.
