A network of foodgardeners is growing in and around Balaena Bay – eastern side of Roseneath. Extremely local, working from the idea that "those with the muscles (or simply a functional body) may not have the knowledge to make their garden work, and those with decades of experience may lack the fitness", so it would be good to exchange knowledge of the older residents with the energy of the newer, budding gardeners!
If you live on Maida Vale rd, Grafton rd, the Crescent or Evans Bay Parade (in Little Karaka bay / Balaena bay / Weka bay), this network gives you the opportunity to tap into some REALLY local knowledge!
