Sorry Dona, I have no idea what type it is, it's a very old tree that was here before we came 12 or so years ago. All I can say is that the walnuts are not the huge type, but are nice to eat. I gather enough to last all year and have enough for neighbours and friends to gather as well, the trouble is that new walnut trees appear all over the property!. I will bring several to the meeting - you have have as many as you want!
