I try to grow as much as I can seasonally so the garden is always changing and also have a small organic seedling business growing edibles. At the moment I've got my spring garden blooming with corn, pumpkins (Jap, Butternut, Jarrahdale and Marina di Chioggia), cucumber (standard and lebanese), zucchini, mizuna, tatsoi, sweet potato, strawberries, chives, shallots, tomato, cherri tomato, eggplant, capsicum, lots of different lettuces, watermelon, silverbeet, beetroot, climbing beans (Blue Lake and Purple King), bush beans (Sunray, Cherokee wax, Tongue of fire), Cape Gooseberry, pineapple, Warragil Greens, chilli, bay tree, avocado, mango, tangelo, lemonade, organges, limes, lemon, grapefruit, taro and papaya. I also try to grow a wide variety of herbs including curry plant, lavender, rosemary, thyme, lemon thyme, lemon grass, parsley, basil, dill, comfrey, borage and aloe vera.

I've printed myself out a planting guide and had a quick look at the Green Harvest site, some very interesting seeds here, I will definitely use them to buy my seeds I think, will have a really good look when I get home.
There is more satifaction from growing from seeds I think, at least you know exactly what your planting :)
I have always had herbs in the garden, use them nearly every day, but have now put more of these into tubs to make room for the veggies, so better be a more vigilant waterer this year LOL.
We're having a couple of lovely sunny days down here, but windy.

(maybe ooooby will become the new comms book?) ha
Thanks for the comment on Garden guardians on the book group. I tried looking it up on Amazon but no joy, can you give us a link to it please?
The cold is putting me off torchlit night investigating lately but I think it's a good idea.
I hope they'll leave me enough to eat!
Very inspiring.
