  • Hi Katherine, Little Bird looks divine.  I'd be keen to try a couple of things - any of the Grawnolas (macadamia or cacao be top choices) and perhaps a Trail Cluster.  But really all of it looks great so would take 2-3 items of anything.  Let me know how you go! Cheers Bronwyn (bronwyn.harvey@gmail.com / 7133)

  • Hi Katherine - the smaller seedlings are basil 'fino verde' which is a small leaf basil (but still yum!). The capsicums and eggplamts are still small, will drop off when ready, including some normal basil. Letterbox for donation is porbably easiest :)
  • Hi Katherine - the kids that I have been working with at the Primary School will have excess tomato, cucumber, capsicum, basil, courgette, eggplant seedlings ready sometme in the next 2-3 weeks. Happy to pass on to you in exchange for donation to school garden programme :) . Let me know how many of each you would like, if you want to do that. I am about to plant my melon seeds, I don't normally plant them out till beginning of November cause it really needs to be warm for them. I'll do some extra for you (how many?). Cheers, Christy
  • I have a dehydrator that can be used (4trays)
why dont I trade you the dehydrator for a week for something from your garden
  • Yes, I definitely want to go. I've booked with Mark. Have you booked? I'm not sure how big this venue is, but sometimes in the past they have been full.

I went to a raw potluck in Ak the other day which was really cool. Several first timers like myself who have been quietly doing their own thing for years and had no idea that so many other ppl were eating raw. It was really exciting and quite liberating to walk into a whole room full of raw ppl eating together.

Let's keep in touch 'cause it would be great to travel together to Sergei's talk!
  • I emailed Mark so we will see!!
    Sergei on Waiheke look out!
  • Thanks, that's great about the raw food. All new info to me so I'm lapping it up. Didn't know about the Permaculture either so that's great, will probably do it.

    Thanks.
  • Hi Katherine,

I eat mostly raw food and am looking for others who do the same. Also, am starting to engage with my garden much more and looking for permaculture approaches, food forest type of thing. Would be keen on some ideas etc. So I'm making contact with a few people. ... please get back to me if you think you might be able to help.

    Cheers,
    Jacob.
  • Hi Katherine, I replied to your request for kefir granules but somehow managed to post it on my own page -duh! It's still available if you want it -give me a bell on 7704.
  • Hi Katherine - I'm a bit slow in replying to your message months ago, my apologies, but thanks for your welcoming email. I see you have a desire to live in a mudbrick house! Me too! I've got a fairly heavy clay soil where I live, so I've decided to have a go at making a pizza oven first out of my own clay and see if I can't work out the best way to do a whole house!
    How is your garden going?
