  • Hi Ken,
Jan told me that you were at the Bee Club and would like a honey bucket the same as the ones I sent to the Bee Club on Sunday. I need a few days to make one up with honey gate and strainer -are you in a desperate hurry? I will have the 4 plastic corner bee escapes for you as well. cheers, Liz Gamlen
  • Hi Ken as with Kali I am interested in your beehive, the design and how it works - we are planning on having a hive in the future so any advice gratefully received.
  • Hi Ken, I am interested in your beehive, featured by Pete russell,
  • HI Ken,

wondered if you might be willing to graph my 2m high avocado tree... it's sprouted years ago from my compost heap.. and very healthy.. but now need someone to come graph it... it's the one you took cuttings from. I have seeds i could exchange you for?
I will give you a ring.. IF you don;t get this note here.
    thanks g.
  • Hi Ken, you noted an heirloom garlic stalk in full bloom in my garden a while back... we tried to gather the seed with not much luck. I discovered four new garlic plants happening next to the original seeded one.. So, at next harvest I will try again for the seeds. I'm so pleased to have them again!! Do you recall the name of this particular garlic which you thought was very difficult to get in NZ? gabriella
  • Hi Ken

Can you contact me on 2200 - I am looking to organise a pruning workshop for 16 people who recently did the permaculture design course - we would like to go to various people's properties and actually prune their trees - mixture of olive, fruit and others - we wnat to do it in the next month
  • hi ken, Just to let you know.. it turns out i did in fact take out the cloves, when i snipped off the seed heads of those special garlic you pointed out to me. I have about nine large cloves, and a small golf sized one as well. How should i best store them.. they are showing some greenish tint at this point. Still waiting for the seed head to drop their tiny seeds!! thanks gabriellaaa
  • hey ken and lois - you're still not my friends?! we need to look at dates again for your future workshops - will you be coming down to the store at the weekend? hope to see you soon, georgie
