  • Hi Nikki, a partial success then! And if the stuff tastes absolutely awful, the chooks can have the lot. My garden is full of weeds and a few veges that have gone to seed (cabbages that never formed heads etc). I think I need to improve my soil :-) However, I have noticed a difference in the places where I've used the worm juice. This stuff is great. Cheers, Keri
  • Hi Nikki,
I'm still an avocado growing novice but I have a friend who has had an avocado orchard, different varieties, for many years. She's my avocado guru-I'll ask her and let you know.
  • That's awesome - thanks Nikki :-) I've been meaning to set up a worm bin but I'm waiting for my sister to get rid of hers. (It's sitting unused and I'm itching to get my hands on it.) Sorry I missed you on the weekend - we might catch up another time. Thanks again for the worm juice - I will apply it to my many ailing plants! Cheers, Keri
  • Yes - do let me know what the wheatgrass drink tastes like! It's supposed to be really good for you, but I can't bring myself to try one. Keri :-)
  • Hi again Nikki - I've just realised that I might not be around on Saturday as my son and daughter need to be in two different places! I will leave the wheat on the back door step for you. (You can check out my weedy garden on the way!) The numbers are a bit funny in my street, so turn into Rosehill, drive up the little hill to the Give Way sign and you will see opposite you a white house with a red roof and garage - that's our house. Cheers, Keri
  • That will be fine. We'll see you then. No need for anything in exchange but thanks for the offer. I have - finally - got a few things in the garden ready to eat! Cheers, Keri
  • Hi Nikki
Yes I still have the wheat seeds and yes, it was for a science fair experiment! I have a couple of bags if you want both of them. I was going to grow wheatgrass but changed my mind. We are in Nawton - 36 Rosehill Place - if you are on Avalon Drive, turn into Grandview Road then right into Bartholomew Drive, and left into Rosehill Place. Cheers, Keri
  • Those beds look solid! The warmth soaked up by the bricks must be a bonus. If I have something to share I will let you know. Putaruru is only 15 minutes away, more or less.
  • How nice to meet you! Maybe we will meet you one day!
  • Hey Nikki, thanks for your email. We still have lots of leeks and are looking forward to the big old orange tree coming on stream. We have finished the chook house so you will have to come over and give your verdict. Regards Andy
