    Well hello Steve! So good to see you here. How are you? Are you planning to visit Aus or NZ any time soon? Katherine and I are settled here on Waiheke Island just off Auckland. Katy and Athil will be here for a couple of weeks soon. So do you have any photos of your parsley and basil?

    My gosh the word is spreading far and wide! Welcome Steve, let's see if we can help you get some action in Bolton.

    The hope for this site is that it comes alive with local exchange of food, event news, seed and seedling swaps and ideas for how you and your locals can build a resilient local food system.

    If there was to be a guiding process, I could imagine that a first step might be to have some conversations with a few people who are actively involved in food growing in your area, and share with them some of the possibilities and advantages of an online social network like this - focused on local food growing.
