    Hi Tracey,

    re prerserving:
    Did you know tht it is possible to use jam jars for preserving?
    The kind that have a "button" in the middle, then if they don't take for some reson, you are aware of it. I use the "overflow method - topping up the last little bit with boiling water to avaoid pips etc stopping the seal (tomatoes particularly are prone to this.
