Bowling balls

I know of so many people who no longer use the bowling ball. I have put the word out that I am wanting a few for yard art. 

Does anyone else like the aged but still round item as a component in a yard art item?

I am going to mosaic at least one using mirrored tiles to turn it into a gazing ball. Others are going to have to talk to me as I go.

Any ideas?

I love the pictures! See I am not the only one that thinks they are good to recycle to the garden. I don't know of any other way to recycle them.

I am sad to say that I have no pictures. I am the worst about taking them. I am trying to get better and will be posting pictures of the one I make next. The mirrored ball has been gone for years now.

What a fun idea, Margaret...I don't have mine anymore. Have you incorporated them in your garden before?

I have one that I glued mirror tiles to and put next to a water feature. It was great! I think this one is going to have tile mosaic.
