A newbie here

Can someone please tell me why my broccolli plants are all stalk and leaf , they have very little heads on them..also what do I feed my sweet peas to help them have plentiful flowers..

I have read that Broccoli needs full sun to grow big heads and that in part shade the heads will be smaller.
