What to grow?

Hi all, The patch is looking sparse. Got some spuds and onions growing in there own little garden. Plus in the main is some carrots. What else can I grow in this climate (besides weed, don't have a problem there) Living in Hamilton

Been Gardening for about 9 months. (Full time) just thought I would fish for more ideas and a little motivation due to the cold :)

parsnips are alos growing well at the moment. definitely go for the brassicas - cabbage, broccoli and cauli.

I suggest broad beans. Is it too late for brassicas? What about beetroot? I planted leeks and they're very slow. Are you a new gardener?
