We got our last lot from PG Wrightsons in Kumeu (on the main road)- it was about $32 for 25KG of pullet grower pellets as we have young chooks, but they had cheaper feed for laying chooks. They were really helpful too.
We get ours from Pak 'n Save. WE feed them a mix of mash and sprouted wheat. Costs about $10/10KG. Its probably not sustainable but it will do till I can get my sunflower/rye production going and ziong up the chook feed in the orchard for them.
