    Hi Carina,

    Really excited to be a part of the community.  My friend just gave me the Flyer yesterday advertising the Tauranga group.  I don't as yet have any produce at this stage to swap, but maybe later in the season.  Looking forward to learning from others tips of the gardening world.   Are the gatherings child friendly at all?  I would try to get a babysitter though as I want to be able to pick peoples brains - not literally :-) Thanks for the lovely welcome :-)

    Thanks for the welcome! I'm helping to organise a community seed and plant swap in March and ooooby came up in conversation with a friend. I'll post the details on the group page in case any local members would like to come along. Perhaps even have an ooooby stand to help promote the concept to others?

    Thank you Carina.  Yep you have my email address already, just starting to make my way around the website and join the Tauranga group online.  I am looking forward to going along to the next gathering at Tracey's on the 13th.  

    I have a 4m long hedge of chilean guava that I intend to prune back, was wondering if anyone would like to use the prunings for propagating their own hedge? Can you tell me how to offer to other ooobys online who may not get to the gatherings.  They are welcome to pick up from my place if they want, (fresh is definately best!) or I may be able to drop off if they live fairly close to Pyes Pa or in town.  Cheers Clare
