  Hi Pete... Spoke with James yesterday and he put me onto ooooby and told me about the open day. Really want to come but I have a wedding to go to in the city so the whole day is out.
  
  A couple of things I was gong to ask you... First, I have an old concrete mixer that I can donate but it needs some work and I don't want to lumber anyone with junk. It has a new motor and belt so it turns but it needs help from somebody good with a welder who can patch a few holes. The main bearing also needs a bit of work . It's usable (or was a few years ago) but needs some TLC , and somebody may be able to fix it up. If someone you know can repair it, I'll have a go at it next week and tidy it up. At worst it may be good for body parts.
  
  Second thing was about the natives you've inherited. We've been doing some guerrilla gardening (of the aesthetic kind rather than the nutritious) and I'm gathering a collection of plants ready for an autumn campaign. Are you selling these off - I'd like to buy a few? Also... don't throw out any old runty sick plants. I can nurse back to health and find an ugly road reserve for them.
