Hi Guys,
I have been trying desperatly to track down pickling salt, sometimes known as canning or preserving salt. Its salt without any additives, like anit caking agents, which cloud a brine, and can't be decifered from a bug. I tried Moore Wilson's, Woolworths, Medeterranean Food Warehouse, and Davis Trading. Nobody had ever seen it in Wellington lately. Any ideas?
Also, Thanks Hannah for the great raw milk info! :)

I'd be very keen for a compost making demonstration. Also, I had major problems with what seemed to be a root fungus this past summer. It took out all of my tomatoes, both conventional and herritage. It also spread to my zuccini as well. I garden on a balcony in containers with drainage holes in the bottom set up on wood planks for circulation. Anyone had this problem?
Also, looking for anyone who has a source for raw milk. Happy to buy or trade for it.

I came across these local gardens set up by the council. Has anyone used them? What kind of state are they in?

Does anyone know of a community garden in Brooklyn wellington? I'm a girl guides leader and keen to get my brownies more invovled with their community. This could be ideal... Or we may start one ourselves

Sounds great Kaye-Maree Dunn. I'd be keen to run a Compost Making demonstration at one of your workshops - if it fits with your plans. We ran one at Easter in Waimarama , Hawkes Bay, and there was a lot of interest. Have a look at our KINATONIC blog and the KINATONIC COMPOST CAKE recipe. Regards Mark

Hello, I am keen to share, we are hosting regular gardening workshops at our home in Berhampore. Will be doing more work as we move into winter also.
